i was born in jerusalem in 1983 , grew up in haifa , and i'm currently living in tel-aviv. i've been making music since i was a kid. in 2005 i traveled to brazil to study brazilian guitar and i ended up studying percussion for six months with local masters . i continued studyng in peru , and in israel from different musicians.

 

with time i developed my own style and also designed my own percussion set . some of the people and groups that i play with are: "alma calma" , a group of seven musicians , perform original songs in hebrew played with authentic brazilian instruments , combining traditional rhythms with made-up ones . "injera" , an instrumental trio which combines ethiopian folk and pop music with jazz and other stuff . "chorol'e" , playing spiced up brazilian choro music . "batucada guarana" , a sambou ensemble , 16 drumers , bringing samba to the streets . "jawaro" , a project by yarden erez , "mattan klein trio" ,"bichipluma" and more.. currently also working on a project of original pieces by pianist alon ram and myself .
