IYAM has been around for about 4 years, in this time they have performed consistently all over the country of Israel from Eilat in the south and to Kibutz Dan in the north to enthusiastic crowds, sending the message and rhythm of Reggae and Dance Hall using the local Hebrew language. Iyam is known for their hit tune from the first album, "No Faith in Politicians." They have three videos that can also be viewed on the Iyam website. The band members are like one big family that goes together on a mission to expose the Israeli audience to the beautiful sound and vibe coming from the Reggae music - not only through the live music but also through collaboration with the Israeli sound systems and younger bands. For IYAM, opening the stage and giving a chance to all Reggae artists is the mission, because we believe that unity will open people’s hearts through the music.
