It all began in 2003, when Keshet (guitar) found a musical soul-mate named Gabriel Just (vocals), and the two began writing what would become the rock opera, "The Diments". Keshet brought a friend named Oren "Shablul" Bergman (bass), and Shablul brought Avishai Aharonov (drums), and so HeavenBound was created.

The band changed its line-up 3 or 4 times untill they reached the current one, which counts prodigy drummer Matt "Sponge" Isaac and bassist Rummy 'Bottle of' Rum in addition to the two founding members.

In 2006, the band hooked up in the studio with dear friend and a wonderful person, Alon Bodek, who reluctently became the band's recording vocal coach!

The band has recently regrouped after a year's period of inactivity (in early 2008), and is currently working on new material and the new rock opera (Kingsdom). The band had also released its first official EP, avalible on "HaOzen Hashlisheet".
