The Dekel Bor trio is one of the most prominent and visible groups of the New-York jazz scene performing an average of 150-200 concerts a year to enthusiastic audiences.
At a time where forward-looking,dedicated working jazz bands are rare, the Dekel Bor Trio is pushing the envelope of modern jazz.
In the past 5 years the group has toured all across the US to critical acclaim performing at top festivals, clubs and colleges during which they have drawn the attention of multi grammy-winning producer Robert Sadin ( Wynton Marsalis, Gilberto Gil), known for his celebrated, Grammy-winning work with Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock.
Mr. Sadin and the trio have begun a long term collaboration which have produced a limited edition album entitled -Emuna- (only avail. at live shows) and an upcoming EP avail. in August 2007.

Being a regular on the New-York jazz scene Dekel and the band have performed at some of the most select of jazz venues such as Birdland, The Blue Note, Sweet Basil and Sweet Rhythm, as well as being a regular at the acclaimed underground venue The 55 Bar and performing weekly concerts at the world famous Smalls Jazz Club.
The group is now preparing for a US and european CD release tour in the summer of 2007 which will find them collaborating with such jazz legends as Fred Hersch, Kenny Wheeler, Tom Harrell among many others.

About the group:

Dekel Bor is a 27 year-old artist from Israel who has taken the jazz world by storm for his focused and highly-original musical vision as a Composer, Guitarist and Bandleader.
Dekel has toured and performed in major festivals across the US and Europe with some of the biggest names in jazz being a member of bands led by, Reggie Workman and Niels-Henning Orsted-Pederson.
In addition Dekel has toured and performed with saxophone titans Johhny Griffin, trumpet star Roy Hargrove and  and the rising star saxophonist Donny McCasslin, guitarists Pat Martino, Adam Rogers and Russell Malone, pianists Rachel Z and Horace Parlan, Bassists Buster Williams, Cameron Brown, Hans Glawishnig, Ugonna Okegwo and Boris Kozlov, drummers Adam Nussbaum, Billy Hart, Charly Persip, Clarence Penn, Ari Hoenig, Dafnis Prieto and Gregory Hutchinson as well as Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and many chamber groups.
Dekel is endorsed by such top companies as Ribbecke Custom Guitars, Traugott Guitars, Mesa Boogie and Acoustic Image Amps, Bag-End Speakers, Maxon analog pedals and Thomastk-Infeld Strings.

French-born bassist Francois Moutin is one of the biggest starts of the international jazz scene.
Winner of the acclaimed "Django Reinhart Award" 2 years in a row, Francois was a member of the acclaimed groups of  Martial Solal,  Michel Portal  and Jean-Michel Pilc. 
Since November 1997 when he moved to New-York, Francois has been performing with the likes of Mike Stern and  Jeff "Tain" Watts among many others.
Currently leads the Moutin Reunion Quartet-a prominent, internationally touring group which has released 3 albums for various labels.

Drummer Nadav Snir-Zelniker is one of the most versatile and intriguing of the new generation of New-York drummers.
Celebrating 10 years of performing together, Dekel and Nadav have a near-telepathic musical connection.
Nadav has performed with such musical giants as Jon Faddis, Dr. Todd Coolman and the Jose Limon' Dance Company and the David Parsons Dance Company.
